What is a Bus?
A bus is a single channel that several tracks are routed into. Process the bus and you process every track flowing through it at once.
- Send all your drums to a Drum Bus → one EQ and compressor shapes the whole kit.
- Send all your vocals to a Vocal Bus → one set of moves balances every vocal stack.
- Master Bus = the channel everything ends up at. Process here for final glue.
- Bus compression with 1-2 dB of reduction makes elements feel like they belong together.
