What is Delay?
Delay is an echo. It plays back the input after a short time — once, or repeating into the distance.
- Set the delay time and the echo follows the original sound at that interval.
- Sync delay to the song tempo (1/4, 1/8, 1/8 dotted) and it locks into the groove.
- Feedback controls how many echoes — low feedback = single repeat, high feedback = long trail.
- Stereo delay can put echoes on the left and right at different times for width.
- Toggle the dry / delay sample to hear how a single hit becomes a rhythm.
Delay turns one sound into a rhythmic pattern — without recording anything new.
